Knight v Archer

At the Guild of Battlefield~ Guides Arms and Armour Weekend~ held at Southwick Park on 19/20 April 2008~ Dr Tobias Capwell of the Wallace Collection and Nicholas Checkfield of History Matters carried out a short experiment of Knight v Archer. `The aim of the experiment was to show that the percieved immobilty of the 14th/15th Century Knight was a myth. The French Knights at Agincourt might have be hindered by the ground and weather conditions but not by their armour.

In 2009 BHTV hopes to carry out a full version of this short experiment. `
